Cabin Trim and Finish Solutions Designer (d/f/m)

We are a team of diverse interior, product, textile and material designer working transnationally while creating customized and standardized cabin interior colour and trim specifications. We also take care of developing surface materials and are specialized in finding solutions to realize the customers’ expectations with the special focus in perceived aesthetical quality. What will be your new challenge?

You will:

• Be responsible for the preparation of all airbus interior color specifications for the commercial aircraft programmes for all visible surfaces within the cabin related to colour, trim and finish

• Negotiate, validate and implement customer requirements and incorporate the definitions into the design and production areas (internal and external)

• Execute the printing templates for decors and production preparation/production releases of surface materials (e.g. decorative foils)

• Be responsible for monitoring the quality of the overall appearance of the passenger cabin

• Guide and monitor the design office and manufacturing partner in all items regarding trim and finish

• Contribute with your expertise to the future of digitalization.

What do you offer?

• You are educated to degree level in interior or textile design, industrial design, interior design or materials technology, architecture and equivalent

• You have professional experiences in working on technical specifications and creative design basics

• You bring practical knowledge in the area of definition and evaluation of surface materials

• You are experienced in materials technology and processing

• Ideally you bring knowledge of the passenger cabin

• You have longstanding experiences in editing specification brochures/manuals with Excel, layout programs and Photoshop, ideally also knowledge of 3D.

• You have excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills combined with a team spirit and assertiveness

• Negotiation level of English and German as well as willingness to travel worldwide complete your profile.
