Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking someone with a solid understanding of Metrology principles with expertise in AC/DC low frequency measurements, microwave measurements, mechanical and thermodynamic measurements. As a Calibration Technician Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments essential for our projects.

Responsibilities:
-Conduct AC/DC low frequency measurements, microwave measurements, mechanical, and thermodynamic measurements accurately and efficiently.
-Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of measurement equipment.
-Develop and implement calibration procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
-Ensure adherence to calibration lab safety protocols and standards.
-Collaborate effectively with team members to accomplish project goals and deadlines.
-Participate in quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
-Formal PMEL/TMDE training or an Associate’s Degree
with 3 years of experience or related on the job
training and 5 years of experience.

-Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

-Must possess excellent customer service/relations skills.

-Competency with Microsoft Office Suite.

-Experience in Electrical calibrations.

-Experience with Mechanical calibration.

-Must be able to work in confined spaces.

-Ability to function in a successful team environment.

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

-This position requires special access to support programs and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

-Requires 20 travel

-Ability to lift up to 30lbs

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
