Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Be the Engineering deputy cost leader, guiding a cross-functional team thru the cost out strategy put in place for the program with a continuous dialogue with Engineering Cost Leader and the Catalyst System Team.
Review and update cost out project status and direct all engineering concurrence’s requests to dedicated HWOs.
Actively work and participate to cost audit on full engine and engine TGs Reviews.
Lead the cross functional mission based cost team and monitor Action Work Out outcomes to meet engineering cost savings requirements.
Support the Engine cost walk being the focal for Additive Parts, PT and GGT modules following the dedicated cost out projects with the cross-functional team.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Lead and be the reference point for all the “should cost” activities.
Support the program cost team in updating the business case and monitor actions to engine target cost.
Promote use of LEAN Tools, and be active participant at Kaizen Events, GEMBA’s for all modules and components.

Qualifications/Requirements
Degree in Engineering, masters preferred
Good Knowledge of Product cost tools and methodologies and some Economic Fundamentals
Experience in delivering cost our project or initiatives
Familiarity with manufacturing processes
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong technical skills and team working
Good knowledge of LEAN tools
Proficiency in English
Availability to travel
Work VISA, according to local regulation, is required

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
Experience in Aerospace field
Familiarity with Additive manufacturing processes
