Description
Your Role:
The Certification Engineer performs design and certification activities to support the UAS Design Holder obligations ensuring the Design Safety Baseline is maintained.
You will also have accountability for:
- The Triton Certification Engineer is responsible to develop and manage artifacts supporting the following:
o UAS Operating Permit (UASOP),
o UAS Operator Compliance Statement (UOCS) and
o UAS Continuing Airworthiness Exposition (UCAE). - Ensuring the Design Safety Baseline is effectively managed and maintained against Technical Directives
- Engage with relevant stakeholders across the enterprise and ensuring that the NGA Triton CAM Services are aligned and compliant with the requirements.
- Monitoring compliance
- Providing interpretation and guidance
- Conducting regular review and updates of Continued Airworthiness processes and procedures.
- Contributing to the development of engineering procedures as part of continuous improvement activities.
- Compling with NGA’s policies and procedures.
About You:
- The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2
- Engineering or Technical Equivalent Degree Level Qualifications (Engineers Australia Registered preferred)
- Advanced Engineering/Technical/Management Degree
- Good technical knowledge of DASR
- Technical qualification associated with planning and scheduling an advantage (certificate level or above)
- Professional/technical and/or project management qualifications an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in Defence/Aerospace industry leading diverse technical teams
- High level communication and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environment
