What You’ll DoTechnical & Engineering ResponsibilitiesApply chemistry, physics, and materials science to develop and qualify composite materials and manufacturing processes.
Provide M&P engineering support to composite part fabrication across multiple programs.
Conduct root-cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Create and execute test plans; generate technical reports and updates to specifications.
Qualify and approve materials, equipment, and processes for production use.
Guide mechanical, thermal, and chemical testing in the Materials & Processes Laboratory.
Integrate new technologies and help standardize materials and processes across product lines.
Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement.
Support supplier visits and technical engagements as needed.
Coordinate test/audit programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, EHS, LEAN, and Quality requirements.
Work EnvironmentFull-time 2nd shift, 100 onsite.
Expect hands-on work across lab, factory, and engineering spaces.
Security & Clearance RequirementsThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
What You Bring (Required Skills)Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years of experience.
Experience with composites, elastomers, and related processing techniques (level aligned to years of experience).
Hands-on lab experience with polymer chemistry and analytical techniques.
Familiarity with materials such as epoxy, cyanate ester, bismaleimide, urethane, polyimide, reinforcements, and adhesives.
Understanding of composite failure modes and failure analysis methods.
Experience developing technical specifications, test plans, and engineering reports.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations.
Strong collaborator with ability to work in team-based environments.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
