.JOB SUMMARY:

Customer service technical representative for all Beechcraft and Cessna piston powered aircraft models. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide phone and email technical support in a fast paced “Hotline” team environment for worldwide retail customers, service facilities, and internal departments.
  2. Coordinate with the parts department, technical publications, and structural repair group to assist with efficient handling of all customer and service facility technical inquiries.
  3. Provide troubleshooting, servicing, technical, and operational assistance for airframe and all aircraft systems.
  4. Research technical publications, engineering drawings, and supplier documents to determine correct specifications, dimensions, rigging procedures, and manufacturing processes to assist customers with resolving technical issues.
  5. Assist customers with locating information in published technical publications, supplier publications, and STC ICAs.
  6. Assist pilots with technical questions regarding limitations, systems operation, and performance information in aircraft Pilot Operating Handbooks (POH).
  7. Assist the warranty department with warranty claims requiring technical interpretation.
  8. Coordinate with customers, the parts department, and quality department on customer spare parts difficulties.
  9. Review and submit Technical Publications Change Requests for revisions to manuals and service documents.
  10. Submit Field Condition Reports for technical difficulties reported on fielded aircraft.
  11. Assist customers with locating part numbers and information available from Textron Aviation Support Website.
  12. Research Service Bulletins for customer requested modifications, optional equipment installations, and special inspections.
  13. Enter all customer technical related requests and resolutions into CSInfo database.
  14. Support the cross functional development of OEM service documents and validate their accuracy on aircraft before field publication.
  15. Resolve high profile customer aircraft issues involving senior management.
  16. Utilize computer-based applications to analyze G1000 avionics recorded data for troubleshooting aircraft and engine discrepancies.
  17. Act as the customer’s representative to ensure their voice is heard within Textron Aviation.
  18. Collaborating with other department team members, sharing information, and functioning in an efficient team results oriented environment.
  19. Occasional travel to support onsite aircraft technical assistance or industry trade shows.
  20. Special projects as assigned by department manager.

Job Requirements:

.EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, or in lieu of degree one of these two:
    • 3 years of relative aircraft maintenance experience A&P license required.
    • 3 years of relative aircraft maintenance experience 2 year technical degree required
  • Pilots License is preferred.
  • Preferred experience in aircraft structural repair, customer support, or relative aircraft maintenance experience

 

QUALIFICATONS:  

  • Aircraft maintenance experience with extensive technical knowledge on structures, piston powerplants, mechanical systems, electrical, and avionics.
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills including customer facing demeanor and appearance.
  • Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with CSInfo, Lawson, SAP preferred.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment to meet department level objectives
  • Occasional travel, sometimes on short notice
