TasksYour main tasks include, among others:
- Technical advice for customer service
- Determine new requirements when creating work-scopes for customers and arrange for workshop compliant working documents
- Monitoring and assessing the operating behavior and results (technical and operational) of engines, modules, components and individual parts
- Cooperation with external departments such as flight operations, aircraft maintenance/overhaul, manufacturers, other airlines and customers in a supportive capacity
- Act as the central contact point for the individual production support units (PU) of an engine model and perform technical coordination
- Tracking and investigating complaints and faults and authorizing appropriate remedial action, including limit extensions

RequirementsThe ideal Customer Support Engineer must fulfill the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in the field of aircraft or engine construction required
- 3-5 years of experience engineering on commercial aircraft engine types desirable
- Fluency in English required
- MS Office as user
