MFC is looking for experienced Cyber Software/Systems Engineers and Cyber Test Exploitation Staff. Selected candidates will have experience with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and/or anti-tamper.

Responsibilities may include any of the following:

Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle. Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions. Coordinates and addresses Supply Chain risk management concerns. Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain. Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions. Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements. Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application. Implements appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

Designs, develops, documents, tests, and maintains full spectrum cyber solutions. Develops and automates secure systems to support cyber offensive, defense and full spectrum cyber operations. Conducts vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing (red/blue teams), develops and integrates low-level firmware, and/or develops specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements. Applies system knowledge of subject matter (hardware, software, networks, cloud, etc.) to conduct research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities and develop new capabilities to exploit and/or mitigate vulnerabilities.

Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required with ability to obtain Security Clearance
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in any of the following:
- Experience working within the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC)
- Implementing System Security requirements on DoD systems to meet U.S. government compliance requirements
- Experience supporting validation and verification of security requirements on DoD systems
- Familiarity with the Systems Engineering process and its application to program life cycle
- Cybersecurity and/or Anti-Tamper experience, including system design, vulnerability assessment, and/or technology development.
- Good understanding of security protocol design and analysis, firmware and embedded OS design principles
- Understanding of NSA-approved cryptographic standards and methods. Knowledge of cryptographic solutions, to include secure boot implementations, cryptographic key management, and/or secure processing.
- Experience leading diverse teams of Cybersecurity engineering
- Industry or analogous USG experience
- Anti-tamper architecture, development and test experience
- Secure hardware and trusted computing experience
Experience working with advanced foundry nodes
Desired Skills:
- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date in order to meet program requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience delivering written / oral presentations to program personnel and customers.
Ability to think critically to find optimal approaches to difficult design issues.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
