Responsibilities - your mission:
In order to increase compliance regarding handling of sensitive data, Airbus Cyber Security has created a new product to manage this perimeter; the Data Compliance Center (DCC). Its main objective is to ensure that potential non-compliance of sensitive (e.g Internal Classification, Export Control) data transfers and hosting, has the corresponding detection, alerting and remediation in place.
Join our innovative Data Security and Compliance team as a Compliance Framework Engineer, taking charge of our security infrastructure&39;s foundation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the DCC perimeter of Splunk SIEM, SOAR, GitLab and Jira, working closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) framework team to ensure configuration changes, platform updates, issue resolution, and seamless prioritization. Your technical expertise and collaborative approach will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our compliance operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain our Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform, ensuring optimal functionality.
Oversee the DCC GitLab framework, addressing any issues and optimizing the platform for secure and efficient collaboration.
Collaborate with the SOC framework team to align on platform updates, enhancements, and issue resolution.
Prioritize and track issues, feature requests, and enhancements, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
Develop and implement automation workflows to streamline compliance processes and incident response.
Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Stay informed about emerging trends in security and compliance frameworks and automation technologies, applying best practices to enhance our platform.
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues using the security framework.
General Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:
Experience in management of SOAR platforms and understanding of security architecture
Experience with Git or similar version control platforms and developing CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and customization.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Problem-solving skills to address complex platform issues and prioritize solutions.
Strong documentation skills for processes, issue tracking, and platform management.
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving security technologies and methodologies.
