DMS Engineer:
The Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Team is an established focal point for all issues regarding obsolescence on the C-130J Program. As systems engineers, the members of this team receive an extraordinary level of visibility as well as exposure to programmatic execution while acting as integrators across a wide range of disciplines both internal and external to the C-130J Engineering & Technology organization. The DMS team is a critical nexus for C-130J Production, Sustainment, and Development execution, proven by years of successfully mitigating industry threats. The candidate will perform DMS Management duties which incorporate the analysis of Bill of Material (BOM), and inventory management data, to identify potential impacts to C-130J Sustainment Programs.

• Create and submit Initial and Final DMS Notification CDRLs for contracted customers.
• Update, brief, and sign-off the Monthly/Quarterly DMS Status CDRLs for contracted customers.
• Create and brief DMS charts for Customer PMRs, TIMs, DMSMS User Summits, etc.
• Support Customer Sub-Directorate meetings
• Works with Program Managers, ILS Managers, Items Analysts, Supply Chain Management, and Sustainment Operations for DMS impacts to proposed and on-going customer efforts, and develops a recommended action plan
• Performs DMS Sustainment quoting for proposal development efforts to support Sustainment customer ECPs for DMS monitoring and reporting
• Work with DMS Program Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers on Sustainment impacts for DMS efforts
• Support P-code meetings to provide DMS input to part issues
• Manage DMS for the AMMM sustainment programs establishing release ability of parts for spares.
• Support Tier 4 EPA and USG DMS Bi-weekly meetings
• Support JUSWG and SUSWG meeting as requested
• Supports the DMS Team by notifying it of DMS issues that are found by sustainment customers.
• Assist with other DMS tasks as needed from the Manager, DMS Program Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers
• DMS point of contact for sustainment customer Program Managers, ILS Managers, Items Analysts, Supply Chain Management, and Sustainment Operations

Experience with leading, coordinating, and collaborating with various disciplines towards a common goal.

Experience in reviewing, interpreting, and writing proposals, SSOWs, and BOEs.

Experience with written, verbal, and presentation communications skills, including briefing to members of upper management, customers, and stakeholders.

Experience in Systems Engineering disciplines with understanding of the total lifecycle (architecture, requirements, design, analysis, integration, verification, production and sustainment) including the following key competencies: Supplier Interface, Proposal Analysis, Risk and Opportunity Assessment.

Experience working with Suppliers and/or Supply Chain engagement.

Knowledge of overall C-130J air system, design, and processes.

Knowledge of C-130J development, and sustainment operations.

Experience as a CAM is desire as well.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
