Ability to :

-Identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and Provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.

-Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates.

-Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.

-Work closely sharing both industrial and functional design view, from the very early stages of the design through the serial production phase and up to the in- service life of the product (whole product lifecycle), working in close collaboration between the Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and any other disciplines involved throughout the whole product lifecycle.

Understand the organization, infrastructure, constraints and limitations of program industrial planning.

Understand global systems/products and their interdependencies during industrialization phase.

He/she will be part of the Systems Design Team and have as main interfaces the Architecture Team, System Integration Team, Software Development and Test Team and the Project Management

 

The jobholder shall take the following main tasks:

•   Work packages management/coordination (cost control, booking control, Earn Value Management, reporting to Project, etc…)

•   Definition and maintenance of the technical specifications for the airborne avionics equipment.

•   Technical management of equipment suppliers: focal point of all technical fields related to the development, integration, qualification and certification phases. Management and handling of equipment during development phases, review and approval of the content of supplier required documentation (being supported when necessary by specialists from other affected areas)

•   Definition and maintenance of the documentation for integration into the Helicopter System:

- Mechanical / Electrical (Installation Definition Documents)

- Functional (Functional Chain)

- Logic (data bus)

- Helicopter Test Procedures (on ground, in flight)

- Reporting of results associated with the above procedures

- Contribution to Software Requirements Specifications

•   Working in an integrated team (primarily with System, Subsystem, HMI; Software Engineering and RIG Tests personnel), and in close coordination with other areas (Procurement, Quality Assurance, ILS, etc), for supporting the :

- Software (SW Requirement Specifications)

- Human-Machine Interface (displays and controls)

- System architecture

- System Integration (bench testing)

- Configuration Control

- Quality

- Procurement (procurement)

- Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)

- Environmental requirements (mechanical, thermal, EMI / EMC, ...)

- Reliability / Safety

•          Technical Focal point for Airworthiness topics supporting AHE Airworthiness department in front of the official authorities of all aspects of the qualification and certification of subsystem in the helicopter: harmonize means of compliance requirements, collect evidence justifications documents, and provide answers to the questions submitted by the authorities
