The Digital Assist team has been established to support programs and new captures with education, processes, and tools encompassing 1LMX future scope. The objective is to rapidly respond to needs and bring the most effective Lockheed Martin (LM) solution to each engagement.

The Digital Assist team is seeking a dynamic, hardworking experienced Systems Engineer/ Enterprise Architect to help us along this journey. We’re looking for someone with passion and enthusiasm in model-based engineering, systems engineering, architecture and modeling, requirements development and management, risk and opportunity management, needs identification, systems integration and implementation. In this role, the candidate will support LM wide captures and programs with identifying a digital thread architecture and help with evaluation of system engineering transformation. This individual will be partnered with programs and proposals as a SME to provide insight into planned architectures, support color team reviews and technical review of technical volumes. Additionally, this individual will help support 1LMX hub in understanding program needs as it pertains to the model-based enterprise to help drive better digital integration within Lockheed Martin as part of 1LMX. This individual will also help develop reusable content that can be leveraged by programs and proposals to help them evolve their program to embracing a digital thread.

This is a remote role that can be worked virtually and will be required to travel and attend LM in-office meetings - EST. Travel: 10-20
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, principles, and tools
• Experience in model-based engineering practices, requirements, and standards including:
a. System trade studies and/or System modeling
b. Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c. System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d. Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
e. Model and/or simulation development
f. Design reviews
• System design or test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.)
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
• Ability to coordinate effectively across boundaries and lead teams to achieve deliverables
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
Desired Skills:
• Prior experience working on proposals as an author
• Demonstrated Program/Project Management and/or leadership skills
• Experience with implementation of transformational capabilities such as Digital Twin, Simulation Based Verification and /or other MBE Disciplines
• Experience with integration and/or utilization of PLM systems (processes, architectures, data models)
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, customers, and leadership
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant graduate degree in an engineering discipline
• Experience with Agile management including agile software, agile infrastructure and/or agile program management
• Experience working a classified program

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $148,200 - $279,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $128,900 - $247,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
