Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth is looking for you as our SYSTEM INTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER (d/f/m).
What can you expect from us?
The main activities within the department &34;System Test & Rigs&34; are:
To define, set up and execute the verification integration plan applicable for different helicopter systems (mainly avionics), to work out and provide all elements for certification needs
To define the requirements for suitable tools and to deploy the associated processes
To ensure the support required for the following activities: ground tests for the prototype helicopters and for series production, flight tests, customer support, support of the development engineers for the definition of the required tests on supplier side
Your main tasks & accountabilities:
As the System Integration and Test Engineer you will:
Support all System function reviews
Establish the detailed integration and verification plans for all System functions
Establish all the associated test procedures and perform accordingly the testing
Produce all the documentation necessary for the validation, the verification and the qualification of the systems in accordance with the approved planning
Challenge and validate the results with Architects and designers
Provide technical assistance to Architect, Designers and H/C support Team (on the H/C if necessary)
Provide the Integration Test project responsible with all the information necessary to perform the quotations, test strategy & planning for system testing
Participate in the definition of the functional needs for the test means
Define, deploy and improve system integration methods and processes according to standard process implementation
Possibly rig test coordination (depending on your former experience)
Required skills and experience:
You have the following qualifications:
University degree (diploma/master) within aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or other
Basic knowledge of embedded systems in the aeronautical sector
Experiences in the following area would be appreciated:
- System Integration & Test
- Data-buses, e.g. ARINC, MILBUS, ethernet etc.
- Arinc 653 systems
Experience within Project Management
Good communication skills and ability for teamwork are a must
Langugage skills: English and German: negotiation level; French would be beneficial
