Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a NDT Engineer (f/m) to join our LMP &34;Laboratory for Materials & Processes&34; based in Marignane, France.
The Laboratory for Materials and Processes supports Engineering and Production at all major steps of a helicopter development and is responsible for research and development of new material and production processes, process simulation, and new inspection methods, as well as the sustaining support for industry and support & services.
One mission of &34;NDT Development and Simulation&34; department is the implementation of advanced and customized Non Destructive Testing solutions, the definition of reference standards and its qualification.
In this perimeter and to reinforce our young and motivated team in the laboratory, we are looking for an experienced NDT inspector with experience in the field of Computed Tomography and Ultrasonic inspection on composite parts.
A high level of responsibility and a well-structured way to work are mandatory for this job profile.
Business travel is to be expected and therefore you will need to be willing to travel accordingly.

Your challenges:Performing of NDT inspection in the field of Research & Development and production support
Responsibility for reference standards in the field of NDT (definition, inspection and qualification)
Technical support for all Airbus Helicopters departments and Participation into development of new or modified NDT methods
Validation of internal/external technical documentation e.g. Inspection procedures / qualifications / reports
Performs internal/external audits for qualification and monitoring of NDT special processes &43; Execution and preparation of training in NDT methods to internal and external customer
Your profile:Engineer in Materials or equivalent technical field
3 to 5 years experience in NDT
A Level 2 (or higher) certification would be appreciated
Knowledge of the aeronautical standards will be a plus
Good knowledge of production and in-service needs in terms of NDT
NADCAP knowledge and staff certification knowledge appreciated
Qualification as auditor preferred
Customer orientated mindset
Language skills:
English: fluent
French: fluent
