Lockheed Martin Space, FBM Program, is seeking an Electrical Component Engineer Sr. Staff to join our team in Denver, CO.

In this position you will:

• Define and lead Electrical/ Electronic/ Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture and test.
• Lead in the selection, qualification, test, and failure analysis of EEE Parts
• Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization.
•Work on electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), hybrids, crystals, crystal oscillators, filters, fuses, heaters, magnetics, microcircuits, relays, semiconductors, thermistors.
•Travel and work closely with suppliers and government agencies to ensure electronic component selections meet both quality expectations and product performance requirements.
• Manage engineering projects in accordance with the cost and schedule guidelines.

Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical (EEE) parts related background or field of study
• Formal coursework, training, experience and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits
• Knowledge of design, manufacturing, materials and processes for EEE parts
• Ability to work independently and multi-task, with demonstrated leadership skills
• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance. US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.)
• Basic Understanding of Nuclear effects on EEE parts and ability to work closely with Survivability Engineers
• Experience participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR
• Familiarity with military specifications and engineering requirements
• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency
• Understanding of worst-case analysis (WCA) / EEE parts derating and end of life requirements
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
