Electrical Engineer - Texas

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for systems integration on airborne vehicles. Working within a project team to integrate complex systems, they will handle the following:

• Design and analyze electrical systems for fixed wing aircraft modifications and avionics upgrades.
• Prepare engineering documentation, including drawings, reports, and test plans.
• Generate FAA certification documentation for integrated systems.
• Develop work instructions and recommendations for cabin electrical modifications.
• Provide liaison support for electrical kit development.
• Coordinate with approval authorities for necessary assistance and approvals.
• Delegate and assign tasks within the engineering team.
• Apply specialized knowledge to design innovative solutions for complex issues.
• Drive continuous process improvements and enhance efficiencies with a focus on safety.
• Ensure top-tier service, safety standards, and performance, exceeding customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Additional experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of four (4) years of aviation experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in E3 (Electromagnetic Environmental Effects) Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with FAA certification processes, including STC, ODA, and familiarity with FAA FARs.
• Solid foundation in PDM & Configuration Management (CM) practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• Airbus experience preferred.
