* Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Education & Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field with 10 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years of experience
* Experience in product lifecycle design, integration, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems
* Experience supporting key lifecycle milestones, including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and QRR
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Excellent leadership skills demonstrated in a new development, dynamic environment
* Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, in person and remote
* Ability to anticipate, plan, and direct execution of own work and that of the team
* Experience with the following:
* Collaborating with a military customer
* Estimating, product schedule development, basis of estimates
* Writing, deriving, and verifying requirements
* Conducting or supporting development of technical trade studies
* Defining architecture from requirements definition
* Environmental testing
* Aligning team member skill sets to program technical needs
* Integrating hardware (e.g. boards, chassis, test racks)
* Integrating software onto hardware platforms
* Familiarity with the following:
* Missile or satellite hardware or corresponding test hardware
* Failure investigation and root cause analysis
* Mechanical or electrical worst case analysis Job Duties & Functions
* Leads a multidisciplinary engineering team in the design and delivery of automated test equipment systems
* Defines and manages system architecture based on requirements and program objectives
* Oversees integration and testing of mechanical and electrical systems for aerospace applications
* Coordinates design, analysis, and test activities across engineering disciplines
* Represents technical system design across program, functional, and customer organizations
* Develops and verifies system requirements in support of program execution
* Supports major program milestones, including design reviews and test readiness events
* Conducts technical trade studies and evaluates system design alternatives
* Manages hardware and software integration activities across test platforms
* Supports failure analysis, root cause investigations, and system performance evaluation
* Ensures technical compliance with cost, schedule, and performance requirements
