Description:Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, military, and domestic purposes. The engineer will be responsible for supporting design development through the release cycle. The position requires research, design, development, and testing of complex electrical designs, including documentation development, hands-on test and troubleshooting, and formal documentation of the electrical design. The work will be across disciplines during integration and test activities. This work will begin with support of the LM Space development of electronic test equipment, then transition to RMS Unmanned Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles business domain. The individual will be occasionally asked to work off-shift or weekends in support of implementation of new designs in the vehicles.

Position also requires person to mentor and lead more junior engineers.
Basic Qualifications:
•High proficiency with Zuken CR8000 schematic capture
•High proficiency with Zuken CR8000 PCB Layout
•Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electrically related problems and then document the testing processes and the results in the appropriate problem reporting system
•Ability to apply electrical design principles to the complexities of autonomous and manned vehicles.
•Understand the engineering change process.
•Qualified candidates must be able to obtain an active TS/SCI Clearance
•Excellent circuit design skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
