This is a 4th-shift working Friday - Sunday (12 hours shift) 6:00am - 6:00pm.
Test and Validation Engineers develop and improve test processes analyzing product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes to support customer requirements. You would apply your knowledge and skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams and provide technical direction for the test and troubleshooting of complex electronic assemblies and test equipment. What You Will Do
Ability to work cross-functionally with all stakeholders within and beyond the value stream including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Design/Engineering, Test Equipment Development, and Program Offices.
Developing Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including factory test procedures/instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, and fixture designs.
Working with Test Development engineering on new or existing test hardware and software.
Supporting manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting, incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP, providing technical support to testing of production hardware and maintenance of test equipment.
Dispositioning non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis as required.
Driving Continuous Improvement to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk, automate, reduce costs (both direct and indirect) using CORE principles and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
2+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Theoretical to advanced knowledge of RF, RF circuits, components, and technical parameters.
Comprehensive interpretation for Test Requirements, Schematic Diagrams, and Technical Drawings.
Practical to advanced knowledge of and skills for RF and RF related test equipment such as Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers.
Theoretical to advanced knowledge of and experience with test software suits such as TestStand and LabView.
Practical to advanced experience and efficiency in test and fault isolations.
Familiarity with:PFGAs and digital circuits, Analog circuits
Demonstrated hands-on electronics aptitude.
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail and the ability to manage dynamic workloads and environment.
Ability to be self-driven and efficient in a collaborative teamwork driven environment.
Knowledge and ability to apply RTX CORE principles and techniques to projects, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Innovative mindset to drive continuous improvement and keep pace with technology.
Proven written and oral communication, including presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word), statistical evaluation tools (SPC, data distribution analysis) and shop floor tools (PRISM, PDM, CMES)
Active US DoD Security Clearance (Secret)
Experience with Refurbishment and Repair requirements and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)
Masters degree preferred.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
