What are your contributions to the team?
• Prepare all necessary documents to support the modification of Bombardier aircraft such as wire diagrams, functional test plans and reports, technical requirement documents, electrical load analysis and design compliance reports.
• Extensive coordination with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, testing and certification of avionics and entertainment systems on all Bombardier platforms.
• Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
• Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues
• Work in a team environment
How to thrive in this role?
• You will hold a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from accredited program with at least two (2) years relevant experience.
• You are proficient creating electrical drawings using AutoCad (preferred)
• Working knowledge of Cabin Management Systems (Preferred)
• You will have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
• You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
• You have a working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft is preferred.
• You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively.
• You must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• You should be an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.
