Pay Rate: $70.25 – $89.18 per hour
Shape the Electromagnetic Integrity of World-Class AircraftPDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Expert-level Electromagnetic Effects Test, Analysis and Design Engineer to join a high-caliber electrical engineering team supporting mission-critical aerospace systems. In this role, you’ll ensure that complex defense and space platforms meet strict electromagnetic interference and compatibility standards, directly impacting national security and technological superiority.
This opportunity is based onsite in Oklahoma City, OK and offers the chance to work on advanced projects with real-world impact, including support of military aircraft systems.
This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
What You’ll Be DoingConduct EMI/EMC analyses, develop test procedures, and lead hands-on testing to meet MIL-STD-461/464 and DO-160 standards
Create EMI/EMC Control Plans, Test Reports, and documentation to support system validation
Coordinate with teammates, system architects, and customers to ensure compliance and performance
Support testing in both lab and aircraft environments
Evaluate supplier data and provide technical feedback on design compliance
May contribute to TEMPEST, HIRF/Lightning, and RF COSITE evaluations
Support automation development and mentor junior engineers
Deliver detailed technical presentations and documentation
What You’ll BringRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering physics, or physics
9+ years of related experience in aerospace or defense
Strong background in EMI/EMC engineering (MIL-STD-461/464, DO-160)
Familiarity with RF shielding, grounding, filtering, and isolation principles
Willingness to travel up to 25
Preferred Qualifications:
ABET-accredited degree in electrical engineering or advanced technical degree (M.S./Ph.D.)
iNARTE EMC Engineer Certification
Knowledge of TEMPEST analysis, Power Quality, and Digital Signal Processing
Proficiency with engineering tools: MATLAB, PSPICE, LTSpice, AutoCAD, MathCAD
Experience with test automation and MS Office Suite

Pay Details: $70.25 to $89.18 per hour
