As an Engineering Support Specialist II at Honeywell, you will provide expert technical support and leadership to a dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing support processes, ensuring project success, and improving overall operational efficiency. This position is integral to maintaining customer satisfaction and driving successful outcomes in engineering projects.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support:
- Provide high-level technical support for engineering projects and customer inquiries.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Coordinate with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.

2. Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of engineering support specialists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career development.
- Establish performance metrics and execute team performance reviews.

3. Process Improvement:
- Analyze current support processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve operational processes.

4. Project Management:
- Support project planning and execution by providing technical insights and recommendations.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure targets are met.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management.

5. Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with stakeholders.
- Ensure clear and effective communication of technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop user-friendly documentation and training materials for support processes.




Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or engineering roles.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing technical projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
