Tasks

The Engine Technician is responsible for:

  • Perform engine repair tasks independently and sign off documentation in line with approved data and quality procedures. Supervise staff when authorized and support rapid repair projects in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Participate in structured training to gain required skills, qualifications, and authorizations, with clear technical progression and potential 0.5–1 year training in Germany
  • Maintain and document tools and equipment, report defects, and support international tooling and equipment projects
  • Handle materials per quality standards, including labeling and chemical disposal, with possible involvement in rapid repair supply chain initiatives Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

  • College or bachelors degree in aeronautics or engine engineering
  • 1-6 years of experience in an engine overhaul shop; Graduates with solid academic and passion to MRO are welcome too
  • Proficiency in engine disassembly and assembly, core module work, borescope inspection, boreblending, and testcell operations
  • Team player with a rigorous and responsible work attitude
  • Civil aircraft component repairers license
  • Good English & Chinese skills (other linguistic abilities preferred)
