About the team:
Methods & Tools is a transverse team working with different core engineering verticals in Airbus. The USP of this team is working in multi-functional environment providing digital solutions to engineering problems.

The USP of the team is people with Core Engineering domain knowledge complemented by software development skills. The team plays an enabler role in various digitization initiatives across Airbus utilizing latest technologies and the domain knowledge they have. Some examples of the digital solutions for various Core Engineering departments such as Data driven designs of wiring, automated routing electrical harnesses, Data Analytics based product aimed at
reducing physical tests of material specimens. It also involve developing web-based solutions to encapsulate and automate different workflows such flight test planning etc. In addition to these , developing tools for Electrical Wiring Harness and Hydraulic Circuit design process improvements. Some
of the tools developed; are used in the areas of Aircraft Safety analysis and Engineering Business Data monitoring etc.

We believe in and follow Agile, Scrum and SAFe methodologies in developing state of the art digital products for the areas mentioned above.

Basic Requirements:

• Engineering graduate with 8&43; years of experience with minimum 3&43; years of Product owner experience. 

• Transverse functional knowledge on Airbus PLM landscape

• Well experienced in Agile/SAFe methodologies

• Proven success in defining product features and drive execution - from concept to commissioning

• Awareness of Software application lifecycle management

• Ability to Articulate and Negotiate.

• Experience of working in cross-functional, cross-cultural and cross-national teams

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and other stakeholders to understand/define the complex business requirements.

• Work with Business, Architect and development teams to transform business requirements into features, breaking down features into user stories, functional and non-functional technical requirements.

• Backlog management using VersionOne/Jira.

• Document UserGuide/Release Notes using Confluence/similar tools.

• Validate Concept Phase Dossier (CPD), Functional Specification Dossier (FSD) and own E2E Test Scenarios

• Take GO / NO-GO decisions in key milestone review meetings

• Provide periodic updates to management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents.
