Revolutionize Military Communications as an Embedded Software EngineerPDS Tech Commercial, is seeking a visionary Embedded Software Engineer to join a team at the cutting edge of aerospace and defense innovation. Based in San Diego, CA, this high-impact role offers a chance to lead the development of advanced System-on-a-Chip (SoC) solutions for mission-critical Department of Defense applications.
As a subject matter expert in embedded systems and SoC architecture, you will directly influence the evolution of secure, high-performance military communication systems — with technology that shapes the defense landscape for decades to come.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Your Role at a GlanceProvide expert-level direction in System-on-a-Chip (SoC) architecture and development
Drive innovation in software-defined radio applications
Collaborate with top-tier engineers to create scalable, future-forward embedded solutions
Influence long-term strategy for next-generation secure communications systems
Support full lifecycle SoC development — from concept through integration
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications:Master’s degree in a STEM field
Minimum 15 years of experience in embedded systems or SoC development
Proven experience in SoC architecture, design, and integration
Background working with software-defined radios
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance

Pay Details: $63.27 to $183.94 per hour
