Job Description:

In your role, you will

  • Analyzes feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production and developing written business case presentations
  • Analyzes requirements and initiates tool design requests
  • Conducts root cause analysis for known quality defects
  • Initiates change documents required for implementation of corrective action
  • Analyzes data using quality tools (pareto, heat map, scatter diagram)
  • Participate and collaborate in a cross functional, matrixed environment
  • Participate and/or present in team and executive meetings
  • Develop and implement work arounds for the assembly line through work instructions and/or shop aides
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Monitors and maintains project status
Job Requirements:
  • You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Methods, Manufacturing Engineering, or related area
  • You must have Working knowledge of Project Management principles 
  • You must have Working knowledge of lean principles
  • You must have Working knowledge of basic quality management tools
  • You must have Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
  • You must have the Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications

ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Root Cause Corrective Action experience
  • Catia or CAD software interrogation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Industrial Engineering or in lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 5 years related experience
  • Structural assembly manufacturing background
  • SAP Routing and BOM experience
