We are looking for you to join our team as a Quality Engineer based out of Apopka, FL.
What You’ll get to Do:
Develop, modify, apply, and maintain electrostatic discharge (ESD) controls, foreign object debris, and Contamination control processes
Work with the multi-functional teams on process updates
Processing of MRB nonconformances
Supports the Program, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams with data analytics for improvement processes.
Conduct or support internal audits, process observations, and area assessments to established policies, procedures, work instructions, and program-specific plans.
Supporting root cause corrective action processes
Experience with M.S. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic Qualifications Quality Engineer:
Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline and 2+ years of Quality and or Mission Assurance work experience
Experience conveying technical information (both written and verbal)
Experience in ANSI S20.20 ESD standards and/or Contamination Control Program
Experience in reading and interpreting GD&T drawings
Strong working knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.)
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
U.S. Citizen Required
Preferred Qualifications Quality Engineer:
Knowledge of RCCA tools and methodology
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Strong background in design and/or manufacturing of electromechanical, electro-optical, and/or opto-mechanical systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
MANQMA
Primary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
