Contract Position
$71.05-$79.60/Hour
Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:
Apply project management principles to plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects
Generate and manage project plans, integrated schedules, and funding mechanisms
Forecast and maintain project demand files; establish and track project metrics to monitor performance
Drive operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration and Agile methodologies
Lead vehicle system-level design, integration, build, and test activities
Facilitate and support technical and programmatic events; coordinate problem reports and manage change processes
Serve as a primary technical interface with GDLS leadership, internal teams, and external customers
Prepare and support bids, proposals, and RFI responses
Evaluate customer feedback, propose process improvements, and implement corrective actions to resolve technical risks
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree/MBA preferred)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant work experience, including 5+ years in Department of Defense or similar industry
Certifications: PMP (required); ITIL and SAFe 5 Agilist preferred
Proven experience managing large-scale engineering projects and leading design, development, and system integration
Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), Risk Management, and Teamcenter
Strong business acumen with experience in customer relationship management, proposals, and negotiations
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and presentation development
Ability to travel as required
