Description:The Support Engineer position will support test, overhaul and repair operations within the Palmdale Engineering Labs, Electromagnetics department at the Palmdale Aeronautics Facility. Uses SAP and SFM daily to prepare articles for fabrication, QA and test on rework, and release production orders. Uses Microsoft Excel to maintain records of stock, needed release dates, and position to program need on WIP. Works with Engineers, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, etc. to prevent issues and resolve problems that may arise. Helps to keep Kanban inventory accurate and assists with Kanban cycle counts as needed. Supports team in process improvements. Fills out weekly Kit Release Plan to keep correct amount of WIP in lab.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $46,700 - $89,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $53,700 - $97,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
