The Regulatory Administration & Airworthiness team is seeking an Engineering Technical Specialist to join our team in Everett, Washington.

Contributes to the development, documentation, implementation and consultation for the application of engineering tools, processes and standards. Assists with training in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs. Assists in the identification and validation of user access roles and tip sheets. Supports the development and implementation of standards. Assists in providing configuration management, coordinating changes and performing assessments of compliance.

Assists in the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity. Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs. Works under general supervision.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Everett WA. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in future.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with logistics in support of regulatory visitor hosting and travel to foreign regulator locations

  • Create presentations and draft materials to support report out and regulatory meetings

  • Maintain the project tracker file, extract progress and performance to plan metrics

  • Maintain ITV (International Type Validation) First of Model project look ahead decks and FAA milestone charts

  • Maintain the ITV Lead dashboard, develop new dashboards to enable team performance visibility, as required

  • Maintain new team member onboarding material and communication artifacts

  • Organize and maintain ITV servers and share points

  • Manage and monitor the GRP BCA ITV Group Mailbox, route incoming requests to appropriate focals, keep track of all the requests

  • Run Performance to Plan meetings, capture meeting minutes, and action items

  • Run regular status meetings with certifying/validating authorities

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live within the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

 Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range Associate Level 2: $76,500-$103,500.
