Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an Engineering Technical Specialist to support our team in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead development, documentation, implementation, and consultation of the application of, and compliance with, requirements for the use of engineering tools, processes, and standards.
  • Guide training and provide subject matter expertise in the utilization of processes, tools, and integration of engineering designs.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met.  Lead the validation of user access roles and the production of moderately complex tip sheets.
  • Guide configuration management, coordinate changes, assess compliance, and manage implementation of product standards across company business units and programs.
  • Represent company interests on external standards committees and develop, adapt, adopt external standards for internal use.
  • Direct the development, maintenance, and distribution of engineering documents, reports, and correspondence to enable business activity.
  • Lead the collection, analysis, and validation of engineering performance metrics and coordinate organizational requirements to support business needs.

This position is expected to be fully onsite in Saint Charles, MO.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or contributing to proposals or engineering change proposals for government contracts or prime sub-contractors.
  • 3+ years of experience with budget management principles and practices to develop and administer project or operating budgets.
  • 3+ years of experience performing Schedule Executability Risk Assessments and preparing, analyzing, and reporting recommendations to Program Senior Leadership regarding establishment and management of Schedule Risk Mitigation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience supporting Boeing defense platforms.
  • 3+ of experience leading projects or teams.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $102,000 – $138,000
