The Work:
In this important Part-time role, the Engineering Technician Sr Stf:
- Provides technical support to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers for the development, fabrication, test, and site installation of electrical, electronic, Mechanical, or software products or systems.
- Assists engineers in assembling, modifying, debugging, and testing prototype products.
- Maintains laboratories, tools, equipment, and products.
- Able to design electronic or electro-mechanical equipment to adapt, test, and install the company’s products.
- Assists engineers in assembling, modifying, debugging, and testing prototype products.
- Provides a high level of technical support to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers for the development, fabrication, test, and site installation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or software products or systems.
- Maintains laboratories, tools, equipment, and products.

Basic Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with polygraph required.
- Fifteen (15) years experience, serving as an independent contributor, a technical consultant to the professional staff, a mentor to developing apprentices/entry level staff, or a leader of non-exempt employees.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline. Six (6) years additional experience can substitute for a degree.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
