The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Software Engineer - Rotorcraft Training Systems to join our Government Training Software Engineering team, support Boeing Global Services organization (BGS) in Mesa, AZ. This position supports the design, development, and maintenance of advanced training systems for military aircraft, specifically the AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters and CH-47 Chinook Cargo Helicopters. Candidates must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Position Responsibilities:
Supports the design, development, test, and maintenance of software solutions throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards
Assists in the review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products
Collaborates in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of software functionalities for system integrations
Contributes to the development, documentation, and maintenance of architectures, requirements, and designs for software products
Participates in debugging and resolution of issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products
Researches and implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development
Supports the development, establishment, monitoring, and improvement of software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchspans
Assists in the execution and documentation of software research and development projects
Collaborates with team members and stakeholders on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations

Knowledge and skills in Python
Experience in using the Qt cross-platform application development framework for creating graphical user interfaces
Ability to work in both a Windows and Linux environment
Experience with Jira work tracking
