Role Summary
* In this role, you will review and validate engineering designs for manufacturing tools and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models for the organization. You will support advanced aerospace manufacturing by verifying standards, dimensional accuracy, and documentation alignment with engineering and production requirements. Education & Job Requirements You must have:
* A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a master’s degree, or related experience with a PhD.
* Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, or Creo.
* The ability to read, understand, and interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D models.
* A strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is required, and the ability to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
* Experience with quality assurance processes to identify and document design issues.
* Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations, such as ISO.
* You must be able to work 100 onsite. Preferred Skills You will have:
* Experience working closely with a cross-functional engineering team. Job Duties / Functions You will be:
* Reviewing and validating engineering designs, technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models to identify errors, omissions, or inconsistencies.
* Verifying compliance with industry standards, including ISO, NAAMS, and ASME Y14.5, as well as company and program-specific specifications.
* Confirming proper GD&T application, dimensional accuracy, angles, radii, and manufacturing tolerances.
* Reviewing and confirming the accuracy and completeness of the bill of materials (BOM) documentation.
* Supporting manufacturing and tooling teams by ensuring that all design data meets production requirements.
* Working onsite at the organization’s Mesa, AZ facility to support ongoing engineering, tooling, and technical integration activities.
