The Boeing Company is currently seeking an F-22 Software Engineering Technical Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to join the F-22 program located in Berkeley, MO This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

The F-22 program is seeking software configuration management engineer to support the software teams in the documentation and tracking of formal deliveries.  Candidate will also support continuous improvement activities and software processes.  Candidates must have excellent attention to detail, excel in a collaborative culture, have strong communication skills, and work well in a dynamic environment with often-changing delivery priorities.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate or Experienced Software Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Configuration control for software team deliverables

  • Create version description documents

  • Coordinate software lockdown meetings to ensure software products are identified correctly in configuration management database and are ready for the next delivery

  • Create Change Request for software deliveries

  • Maintain program documents in CM system

  • Assist in coordination of Improvement Activities and documentation

  • Run metrics and complete initial analysis

  • Assist with Process updates

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance and approval for program access

  • 2+ year experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Experience working in a role that required strong technical, analytical, and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Currently hold a Secret Clearance or have held on in the past 24 months

  • Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira

  • Critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate Level:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years related work experience, 7 years related work experience, etc.).

Experienced Level:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.  Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Summary pay range Associate Level: $71,4000 – $96,600

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $84,150 – $113,850
