FCAS2023 Armament Integration Engineer

Job Description:

An opportunity for an FCAS2023 Armament Integration Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

Main Task and responsibilities will be related to Armament Systems integration activities in future combat air platforms, including:

• To define requirements for integartion of Armament in Future Combat Air Systems,  at system, subsystem, or equipment level.
• To define Armament Control and Carriage Systems Design Requirements
• To perform Impact analysis for the integration of new Armament in a combat platform.
• Preparation and assessment of the technical documentation for the integration of armament.
• Generation of weapons to Aircraft Interface Control Document.
• Preparation and assessment of Safety documentation. Generation of Preliminary Hazard Analysis
• To identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
• To define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates.

We are looking for candidates:

• Educated in an Aeronautical, Telecommunications or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience in Systems Integration.
• Advanced level in English. *languages
• Willingness to be relocated to other locations
