Role Summary
* In this role, you will develop and implement high-performance communications/networking ASIC and FPGA products. You will derive engineering specifications from system requirements, develop detailed architecture, execute RTL and HLS designs, perform verification, synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), lab debug, and software-driven validation on Linux-based SoC evaluation boards. You will support silicon/FPGA bring-up, characterization, production ramp, and collateral to ensure robust quality and delivery of communication products for national security applications. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree plus 2 years of prior relevant experience.
* Must have experience mapping algorithms and standards (Ethernet, TCP/IP, AXI) to hardware and making architecture/system design tradeoffs.
* Must have proficiency in VHDL design processes and FPGA flows.
* Must have knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP protocols.
* Must have strong logic, board debugging, and analytical skills.
* Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Preferred Skills
* You will have experience with High Level Synthesis (HLS) using Vivado.
* You will have experience with Embedded Software C++ (OOP) and System Verilog Assertions (SVA).
* You will have experience with high-speed protocols such as PCIe, TCP/IP, and Ethernet.
* You will have hands-on experience with Mentor EDA tools for CDC, Lint, AC, and RDC analysis.
* You will have experience working with complex FPGA designs, including architecture, design, verification, synthesis, and STA. Job Duties / Functions
* You will be deriving engineering specifications from system requirements and developing a detailed architecture.
* You will be executing RTL and/or HLS (C++ to RTL) designs and performing RTL quality checks, including RDC, CDC, formal verification, and linting.
* You will be generating and executing test plans.
* You will be performing module-level verification, synthesis, STA, lab debug, and software-driven validation on Linux-based SoC evaluation boards.
* You will be supporting silicon/FPGA bring-up, characterization, production ramp, and creating collateral.
* You will be mapping algorithms and communication/networking standards to hardware and guiding architecture/system design tradeoffs.
* You will be collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
