Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities Engineering organization is currently seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer, at Experienced or Senior Level, to join our SW Engineering team in Mesa, Arizona. This role may require up to 10 travel to support our SoCal, CA Boeing sites.
You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with customer requirements, building codes, and regulations. Your expertise in design/construction principles, practices, and materials will guarantee the safety and stability of our infrastructure systems.

You will develop technical design statements of work, review final designs, and provide cost estimates for various projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure that our buildings, equipment installations, utility systems, and grounds meet the highest standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead project teams to develop complex conceptual designs, final designs, cost estimates and provide maintenance support for the electrical phases of buildings, equipment installations, utility systems and grounds
Review electrical designs to assess compliance with customer requirements, building codes and applicable regulations by applying knowledge of construction principles, practices, and materials and take appropriate corrective action
Lead teams that manage and support complex construction projects by providing input on vendor selection; review contractor proposals; interface with government/regulatory agencies; monitor project progress and vendor/consultant performance
Lead teams to develop complex conceptual analysis to determine the cause of asset failures and reduction in asset capacity by using reliability tools and methods (e.g., life cycle analysis, condition based maintenance, root cause failure methodology, mean time between failures, fault tree analysis, etc.)
Provide technical Statement of work for design documents
Lead in the translation of customer requirements to design options with documents and estimates
Develop and update design standards and site-specific operating procedures in order to establish common practices
Participate in technical committees
Contribute to infrastructure planning by conducting studies, analyzing current conditions and future requirements, recommending capital improvements, and gathering and analyzing data for both short and long-term
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry
5+ years of experience supporting medium voltage power distribution, backup generators, and/or industrial lighting systems
5+ years of experience working in a facilities engineering role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
5+ years of experience reading electrical schematic diagrams
Experience with industrial control systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and instrumentation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit software
Experience with Control Systems such as Allen-Bradley, NLight, Payne Sparkman, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, TRANE, Honeywell, Johnson, etc.
Experience planning medium voltage substation preventative maintenance
Experience with reactive maintenance for building electrical systems

Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level: $96,050 - $129,950
Summary Pay Range for Senior Level: $112,200 - $151,800
