We are seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager (Level K) to join our Engineering and Technology team within the Boeing Global Real Estate and Facilities organization. This position is located in the St. Louis, Missouri area (Hazelwood or Berkeley).

You will lead a team of facilities plant engineers composed of architects, civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and technical designers in support of critical building and infrastructure maintenance activities, construction projects, asset condition assessments, and long range business planning development. This role will involve strategic collaboration with other facilities groups, Boeing business partners & external suppliers, contractors, and vendors.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities related to infrastructure planning, design, analysis, improvement of construction projects and maintenance operations

  • Develops and completes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and employees

  • Provides guidance and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

  • Leads, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams and/or initiatives

  • 3+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

  • 1+ years of experience coordinating across engineering disciplines

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Degree in Engineering or technical/STEM discipline

  • 3+ years of experience with technical project management

  • 3+ years of experience in facilities and/or construction management

  • 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies that drive employee engagement and inclusion

  • 1+ years of experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems

  • Experience with Revit or comparable BIM software, utilizing basic tools such as: work sets, schedules, views, clash detection and family creation

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business consideration.

Summary pay range: $107,950 - $146,050
