We are looking for a candidate that provides technical advice, instruction and assistance in the assembly, operation, maintenance, calibration, repair and modification of the AN/BLQ-10 system. Additional services shall be provided to facilitate the test/evaluation of modifications/engineering changes for future installation, and support for the integration, calibration, and training associated with the fielding of modifications. The work location is in Syracuse, New York, working as a member of the Electronic Systems and Directed Energy Team. Assignment includes, but not limited to:
1.Working with test team at the Syracuse, NY EP7 Facility.
2.Assist the radar GFE custodians with management of Government spares and material.
3.Traveling to other customer sites to provide technical assistance as required.
4. Domestic and International travel required to meet business needs and requirements. International travel to High Security countries when required.
5. Participate in domestic and international installations and checkouts.
Basic Qualifications:
1) Domestic travel and or international travel to low, medium, and high-risk security level countries is required.
2) Demonstrated skills in electronic and mechanical troubleshooting.
3) Demonstrated skills following established test procedures.
4) Must possess a valid US Driver’s License and US Passport
5) Proficient using MS Office Software including; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
6) Demonstrated skills utilizing different pieces of test equipment like a Digital Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, or a Signal Generator to name a few.
Desired Skills:
1) Previous field engineering and equipment support experience in support of a defense program.
2) Previous Military experience performing maintenance and operation of an AN/BLQ-10 system.
3) Knowledge and understanding of Navy EW, Design, Troubleshooting, and Repair.
4) Understanding of Unix/Linux operating system in the areas of file system navigation and commands.
5) Fiber Optics repair/cleaning/polishing.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $71,000 - $136,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $81,600 - $153,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
