This requisition is for a Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) position at ADP, serving as part of the Test Operations Team. This position will work alongside military, contractor, and civil service personnel as members of the flight test team. Provide Program Leadership with communication and status of platform readiness and maintenance issues. Act as liaison between Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Test Operations group leads, modification team, and other FTCEs in coordinating scheduled events. This position could be tasked to represent test program leadership in meetings.
Duties and responsibilities also include coordinating with other organizations associated with test readiness. The applicant must be able to effectively communicate, direct, and interact with other test team members, as well as external members to achieve mission success.
You will be expected to train and mentor less experienced team members.
The FTCE is also the primary liaison between aircraft maintenance and engineering, communicating aircraft test configuration to responsible engineers and flight operations. You will be responsible for maintaining configuration of a myriad of items, from test equipment, software, hardware, all items necessary for a successful test evolution.
Overtime, non-standard shifts, and weekend work will be required.

Basic Qualifications:
Flight Test execution/operation experience
• Aircraft OEM or MRO experience
• Experience and understanding of aircraft capabilities and test techniques
• Lead or Leadership Experience
Desired Skills:
Understanding of aircraft systems and capabilities to include:
• Schematics, Engineering documentation, reading /interpretation and their use during troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ASE/GSE Support equipment.
• Knowledge of avionics/mission systems and vehicle/utility systems.
• Fault isolation and/or problem analysis at the subsystem level.
• Good knowledge of the system/software engineering environment.
• Authoring test and technical documents (System Checkout Procedures, Ground Test Support plans, etc.), plus directing and overseeing their execution.
• Technical report writing.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
