A vacancy for a future Programs IT infraestructure, frameworks and cloud and simuluation solutions has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space. The successful applicant will join Flight Test Ground Station Department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Flight Test Ground Station is the department responsible for the Ground HW and Ground and Onboard SW means required for perform the flight test activity. On addition is responsible for the IT Systems and general software in the Test Center Organization.

One of the key activities to perform is develop software applications for Flight Test Ground Station and Test Frameworks. Additionally some industralization of tools are requested from the Test Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as a Framework and On-Premise IT & Cloud Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining frameworks and on-premise cloud solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and design custom solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement frameworks and on-premiseIT solutions for clients.
Work with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation on premise solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with frameworks and on-premise cloud solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that frameworks and on-premise cloud solutions are integrated seamlessly into clients&39; environments.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Desiderable 4 years of professional experience in a similar position.
Bachelor&39;s or Master&39;s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience with IT Netwkorks based on CISCO, Windows Domains, Linux Domains and Solutions based on Cloud archictectures.
Proven experiencie coding Infraestructure automation with Chef, Ansible, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD
Experience with on-premise cloud and virtualizacion solutions such as OpenStack, VMware Environment or Proxmox.
Experience with distributed storage technologies such as NFS, HDFS and Amazon S3, as well as dynamic resource management frameworks (Apache Mesos, Kubernetes, Yarn)
Ability to program (structured and OOP) using one or more scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript.
Experiencie with Monitoring and Log Systems, based on Graphana and Elastic Search.
Experience in Restricted and Secured Networks fullfilling STIC regulations
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a client-facing role is a plus.
Advanced level English and Spanish.
