* High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 2+ years of engineering college or technical school
* 5+ years of experience in strain gage installation and instrumentation measurement systems
* Experience with Wheatstone bridge wiring methodology for strain gages
* Experience performing surface preparation, strain gage layout, alignment, and bonding
* Experience with instrumentation wiring, documentation, and measurement systems
* Experience applying strain gages to metallic and composite structures
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Experience with Micro-Measurements techniques and procedures
* Experience supporting engineering flight test and ground test operations
* Experience measuring torque, axial load, bending, and shear strain using instrumentation systems
* Flexibility to support overtime and extended or modified shift requirements Job Duties & Functions
* Perform strain gage installation activities supporting flight and ground test operations
* Prepare surfaces and execute layout, alignment, and bonding of strain gages on test components
* Wire Wheatstone bridge circuits to support strain measurement systems
* Configure and verify instrumentation wiring for test data acquisition
* Document installation procedures and instrumentation configurations
* Support measurement of mechanical loads including torque, axial load, bending, and shear strain
* Apply strain gages to aircraft and facility components constructed from metals and composites
* Coordinate test support activities with engineering teams during flight and ground operations Physical Requirements & Environment
