Role Summary
* In this role, you will support the sustainment, design, and analysis of advanced Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) systems for aircraft, missile, and autonomous platforms. You will work on complex simulation, performance, and sustainment activities that ensure the continued mission readiness of the Minuteman III program. This position offers the opportunity to engage with system-level GN&C requirements, modeling, and testing while supporting cutting-edge aerospace defense systems. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
* Must have a minimum of 9 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Must have experience and coursework in Control Systems or Guidance, Navigation, and Control System design
* Must have strong analytical, technical, and documentation skills
* Must have regular and predictable attendance and the ability to work 100 onsite at Hill AFB, UT Preferred Skills
* Experience with simulation and/or system or component modeling
* Experience with Kalman Filter design and estimation techniques
* Experience implementing algorithms in real-time systems
* Experience with auto-coding and software integration
* Experience or coursework in computer programming (C, C , C++, Ada, or similar languages)
* Knowledge of Minuteman III Guidance Systems
* Experience supporting sustainment engineering programs for aerospace or defense systems Job Duties/Functions
* Gathering and defining system-level requirements for Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) sustainment programs
* Performing and documenting analyses of GN&C systems, simulations, models, and tools
* Supporting reviews, analyses, simulations, and component or system testing to ensure products meet customer and performance requirements
* Supporting testing and troubleshooting of sustainment-related products, services, and anomalies
* Participating in Guidance system sustainment efforts to ensure End-of-Life (EOL) capability can be achieved or exceeded
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve integration and design challenges
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of simulation methods and GN&C sustainment practices
