As a VMWare System Admin at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the VMWare infrastructure and systems. You will work with a team of system administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the VMWare environment and provide technical support to end-users
Honeywells ACST team is seeking an IT Engineer II for their Golden Valley, MN or Broomfield, CO locations.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our IT infrastructure by ensuring the availability and performance of the VMWare systems. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the VMWare environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and support the VMWare infrastructure and systems
• Ensure the availability and performance of VMWare systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VMWare environment
• Collaborate with the team to implement new technology stacks and migration of workloads
• Provide technical support to end-users
U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
The salary range for this position is $72,600. - $109,000. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

YOU MUST HAVE
•5+ years of experience in operational support of enterprise server ecosystem
•5+ years of VMWare infrastructure and systems experience
•5 + Experience with virtualization platforms such as VXRail, vSAN, and VCF/NSX
•U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a clearance is required for all applicants. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a U.S. government security background investigation and polygraph.
WE VALUE
•Bachelors degree in information technology or related field
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills
•Technical certifications in VMWare or Hyperconverged space
•Experience with Windows patching tools and security standards
•Knowledge of IT business processes and practices including ITIL methodology
•Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment
