We are looking for IT Infrastructure System Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.
Areas of impact: IT Infrastructure
Responsibilities:
- Supports higher level activities (requirements analysis, design, integration, verification and validation) to ensure feasibility and efficiency of the overall development.
- Combines analytical and design skills with the appropriate knowledge of software and hardware technology to define, design, generate, test, implement and modify IT systems.
- Selects feasible and efficient IT components / elements (i.e. COTS) in line with system requirements as well as constraints.
- Integrates IT components elements to meet lower level architecture.
- Verifies IT components elements and prepares these for upper level integration.
- Generates acceptance test requirements which ensure that the requirements have been met.
- Based on business needs, travel within and outside the country may be required
Requirements:
- 5&43; years working experience with IT Hardware Infrastructure (e.g. Blade servers, Storage, SAN technologies) installation, commissioning and update. Automation is a plus.
- Virtualization knowledge (e.g. Hyper-V, VMware) certification is a plus.
- Good administration knowledge on Operating Systems (Microsoft and Linux).
- Good knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Backup & Restore (e.g. Data Protection Manager, Networker).
- Good knowledge of System Center Orchestrator.
- Knowledge on scripting automation (e.g. PowerShell, Bash).
- PLC automation experience is a key advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Networking (e.g. VLAN, Firewalls, Routing and Switching).
- Knowledge on Azure Platform Administration/Design is a plus.
