Role & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for a Integration & Test Engineer to work within the Raytheon Assured Position Navigation and Timing Systems team, part of the wider Systems & Products business unit, to produce Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military spanet.
The role will provide support across Raytheon’s range of APNT products, providing Integration & Test expertise across the product lifecycle, from requirements capture, analysis, design through to testing, qualification, and certification activities.
Responsibilities
- Supporting our flagship and next generation products, this role will provide support to the APNT System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Lead with the development of test scenario definitions, conduct of functional system test, supporting off-site test house activities, generation of technical procedures and reports, participation in engineering design reviews and response to customer technical requests.
- The role will be based at Raytheon’s Harlow facility and the successful candidate will have access to professional development opportunities and be part of the growing Raytheon Technologies team, where the candidate will be required to undertake development studies and investigation activities involving product performance and interfacing with various internal stakeholders.
- The role will involve working in a highly technical environment, supporting the team as well as working autonomously, laboratory work will be involved for product testing. Taking on complex challenges and producing a solution that follows company process in a timely manner is an essential part of the role. A successful candidate will be comfortable integrating into a large team to accomplish their goals
Required experience
- Experience with RF (including Antennas) and Digital Hardware design and test
- Experience in verification & validation, including environmental and EMC testing
- Experience with generation of technical documentation at all levels.
- Understanding of policies, practises and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team and perform to project directives.
- Ability to work autonomously, with limited oversight from Team Leaders and Management.
- Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar industry certification.
Desirable experience
- Knowledge of GNSS systems and receiver characteristics
- Experience across the product engineering lifecycle from requirements through to qualification.
- Experience with Requirements Management toolsets.
- Experience with configuration management systems
