The Honeywell Aerospace Development Program offers an intern program for positions within the Engineering career paths. The internship program is designed to provide the candidate with one or more project assignments that is related to Electrical Engineering.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design and product development skills by providing support to the Electrical Engineering team in performing design analysis, conduct testing, test data analysis and repair and maintenance of electronic hardware.
- Gain a broad understanding of Aerospace’s end-to-end business combined with the importance of customer responsiveness, meeting program milestones, and improving product quality.
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Current enrollment in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Bachelor’s Degree, graduating class of 2027.
WE VALUE
- Demonstrated academic excellence and good analytical skills
- Good understanding of basic electrical circuits and theory of operation with some knowledge of power electronics
- Ability to demonstrate key Honeywell Behaviours such as, collaborative, self awareness, active listener, willingness to accept and act on feedback, passion for results
- Previous experience in using DMM, Oscilloscopes and other test equipment
- Motivation to drive improvements in a challenging environment
- Ability to provide clear and concise communication
- Ability to easily and effectively juggle many priorities and competing demands
- Ability to focus on important information and identify key details.
- Experience with MATLAB and other design/simulation tools
