Roles and Responsibilities
As the Installation Aero Engineer, you will:
Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, installation aerodynamic analysis, design, test, and integration required to define and support assigned components, assemblies, and systems that meet business standards and product requirements
Analyze component and engine test data to validate aerodynamic designs.
Develop analytical tools / software to improve aerodynamic design and predictive capabilities.
Prepare and present technical information to internal and external customers
Assist with the preparation and execution of test programs achieving test objectives within schedule and budget guidelines
Contribute to process improvement, sharing lessons learned, and best practice documentation
Interface with internal leadership, suppliers, partners, and airframe customers
Implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements.
Develop lean processes to improve job productivity and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
MSc/BSc in Engineering.
Some industry experience.
EU work permit required.
Strong organization and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Strong oral and written communication skills especially in English.
Desired Characteristics
Any relevant aerodynamic design experience OR Master’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering relevant to aerodynamics.
Knowledge of aerodynamics design, computational fluid dynamic software (e.g. CFX) and CAD software (NX)
Experience performing computational analyses on high performance computing (HPC) resources
Strong interpersonal skills.
Customer satisfaction mindset, ability to work well in a team environment with a positive “can do” attitude.
