At Honeywell - Olathe,we produce the Avionics products that help keep Air Travel safe for commercialand business travelers.  In this role,you will identify, design, develop, and improve processes and requirements aspart of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team.  You will be a lead technical focal pointacross the site and the broader Honeywell Aerospace advanced manufacturingengineering team creating solutions that meet the dynamic needs of ourproducts.  By collaborating with internalcustomers and broader engineering teams, you will influence manufacturing cost,yield, and schedule execution.  As atechnical expert, you will leverage advanced tools and techniques to deliverhigh impact business results while acting as a technical leader and mentor forother engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Standards application and Product Improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Aerospace.
  • 10 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing related fields.
WE VALUE
  • Extensive relevant experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Masters Degree or advanced professional certification
  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge of Avionics products like weather radar and collision avoidance products
  • Lean/6u03C3 Certification
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Individuals who are self-motivated
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate business impact and continuous drive for improvement
  • Ability to influence peers and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions in an ambiguous environment
